Raymond C. Kerr presently emphasizes Alternative Dispute Resolution in his practice. He has been a Mediator and an Arbitrator since 1991, appointed by State and Federal Courts, the AAA, NASD, NYSE, ICC, American Health Lawyers Association, Key Bridge Foundation, and the International Centre For Dispute Resolution. He has conducted over 800 mediations of all types and over 100 arbitrations. He also serves as a Mediation and Arbitration Trainer.
He also has over 40 years of experience as a civil attorney in a litigation practice emphasizing complex construction, commercial and employment disputes in courts of every jurisdiction, both State and Federal, including specialized Federal Courts such as Bankruptcy Courts, Federal Procurement Courts, Federal Tax Courts, and practice before the Controller of Currency.
He has also served as outside counsel for a public oil and gas exploration and production company for 15 years. He has also been an active Bar Association leader having served as President of the Houston Bar Association, Director of the State Bar of Texas, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Texas Bar Foundation.
